The public will take notice that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Granite Quarry adopted an ordinance on April 8, 2024, amending the Charter of the Town of Granite Quarry, by changing the name of the Board to “Town Council” as authorized by G.S. 160A-101(3); and to provide for the election of the Mayor for a term of four years beginning in 2025, and every four years thereafter as authorized by G.S. 160A-101(4).
