Rowan County has been able to maintain a moderate tax rate to provide great services that enhance our quality of life. In a non-revaluation year, the tax base has normally increased about 3% per year, keeping tax rates in check.
The Register of Deeds Office provides numerous services to the working community and the general public. By law, the Register of Deeds is charged with the integrity, completeness, accuracy, and safekeeping of all public records recorded in the office.
The Rowan County Board of Elections office is committed to conducting honest, fair, and impartial elections so all eligible Rowan County citizens may exercise their right to vote.
