Volunteer at GQ Events

Volunteers are needed for Granite Quarry Events! If you have been thinking about getting involved but don’t have the availability to consistently attend monthly meetings, this is the perfect opportunity to join a team of awesome volunteers! This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, school groups, students needing service hours, churches, community groups and businesses to volunteer their time assisting with these excellent community events.

  • Arts in the Park - Saturday, April 27th, 1-6pm: Volunteers are needed to assist with vendor setup and tear down, parking, children’s games/crafts, clean up.
  • Fish for Fun - 2 Events! Saturday June 8th, 9-12:30pm & Saturday September 14th, 4-7:30pm: Volunteers are needed to assist with guest check-in, setup and tear down, rod-n-reels check out/in, bait, clean up.
  • Granite Fest - Saturday, October 19th, 1-7pm: Volunteers are needed to assist with merchandise sales, hospitality booth, children’s games and crafts supervision, setup/clean-up/parking. Volunteers are needed for a minimum of 3 hours in the area they are assigned and should wear comfortable clothing/shoes. Each volunteer will be given an official Granite Fest T-shirt that they must wear while volunteering as well as a volunteer badge. Volunteers may choose the time of day and area they wish to work based on available time slots. See separate form for Granite Fest volunteers.
  • Christmas at the Lake - Saturday, December 7th, 3-7pm: Volunteers are needed to assist with vendor setup and tear down, parking, children’s games/crafts, wear costume as various Christmas characters (Grinch, Santa’s Elves), clean up.
