The Town of Granite Quarry will hold a legislative public hearing regarding an “Ordinance Amending the Granite Quarry Development Ordinance”. The proposed changes are to Article 15, Special Events and Temporary Structures, including Table 15.1 regarding “Food Trucks” to clarify restrictions on Food Trucks within the Town’s jurisdiction.

The Town of Granite Quarry will hold a legislative public hearing regarding a petition for Zoning Map Amendment (rezoning) of Tax Map 648, Parcels 1010000001 and 1010000002, owner David Stout, the property addresses are 507 and 509 Troutman Street. The petition is to change both properties from “Single-Family Residential 3 (SFR-3)” Zoning District to a “Single-Family Residential 3 (SFR-3) with Traditional Neighborhood Development Overlay (TNDO)” Zoning District. 

The Mayor and Board of Aldermen invite you to attend the hearing to share your comments on the proposed text amendments to be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 6:00 PM or as early thereafter as the agenda progression allows, at the Granite Quarry Town Hall, 143 N. Salisbury Avenue, Granite Quarry, NC  28146.
