The Town of Granite Quarry is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Maintenance Technician. The position performs a range of general maintenance and parks and recreation duties. The Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities will require the candidate to be knowledgeable of OSHA Rules and Regulations and possess the ability to operate, maintain, and repair Town equipment. The person must exercise good judgment, be able to work independently, possess a valid NC driver’s license, have a working knowledge of work zone traffic control, and experience with pesticide chemical applications.
The Town of Granite Quarry prefers an experienced individual with the basic fire fighter certification and a background in maintenance or parks and recreation. Salary is based upon experience and comes with a superior benefits package.
