Notice is hereby given that under the general statue 160A-71(b)(1), the Mayor has called a Special Meeting of the Board of Aldermen for Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at the Granite Quarry Town Hall located at 143 N. Salisbury Ave., Granite Quarry, NC.
The following business items will be discussed:
1) To continue discussion on Granite Quarry's Charter, personnel policy, and job descriptions.
2)To discuss the permanent town manager position and process.
3) To discuss investment of public funds.
4) To discuss alternate dates for the Board Planning Retreat.
5) To go into closed session pursuant to N.C. General Statutes Section 143-318.11(a)(5)(ii) to discuss the amount of compensation and other material terms of an employment contract or proposed employment contract.
