Effective July 22, 2019 NCDOT has closed N. Main Street in Granite Quarry to replace the bridge near Faith Road. DOT has placed several Road Closed and Detour signs in the area.
Residents and visitors can use Kerns St. and Church St. to access Hwy. 52 and can use Peeler St./Byrd Rd or Barringer St. to access Faith Rd.
NCDOT management expects the road to be closed up to six months or until the project is complete.
