On Saturday, April 27th 2019, Granite Quarry Fire Department joined with Rockwell Rural, Faith, Gold Hill, Pooletown and Liberty Fire Departments for a live burn. Granite Quarry Fire Chief, Jason Hord, ran command of training evolution and 30+ firefighters participated. Instructors lit interior fires and 20 interior training evolutions were attended by the firefighters.
