The Granite Quarry Fire Department spent the week teaching the children of the community about fire safety. Firefighters spent the day at Granite Quarry Elementary on Monday and Tuesday, showing children the fire trucks and educating them on what to do in the event of a fire or emergency. They then served them lunch. Granite Quarry Fire Department will continue Fire Prevention Week with a visit to a preschool and a church this week.
