Farewell
FROM POLICE CHIEF CLYDE L. ADAMS, JR:

I’d like to thank the Town for my retirement reception; I enjoyed every moment spent with friends and family.  It was a special day and the catering by Debbie Suggs was delicious!

After working 19 years here in Granite Quarry, it has been difficult to leave.  I have enjoyed coming back as interim police chief as the procedures for a new chief were completed.

It is very hard to say good bye to the wonderful staff at the Town Hall - we are all one big family.  Now I look forward to spending time with my wife and son who mean everything to me.

Please support the Granite Quarry-Faith Police Authority and its new leadership.

     Clyde L. Adams, Jr.

A message from Mayor Mary Ponds

“Granite Quarry is a beautiful town located approximately three miles south of Downtown Salisbury.  We are often referred to as a bedroom community but my response is we are the “Master Suite”.   The scenic drive into our town yields beautiful, well maintained and inviting neighborhoods that are comfortable  and appealing to varied income levels as well as life maturity status.

We are abound by churches of most denominations, schools (elementary, middle, high and private), parks, walking trails, etc., and most day-to-day amenities.  That which we do not offer are within a forty-five minute drive.  Granite Quarry is a clean, safe community with great personality and a feeling of the way things used to be.

Thank you for taking the time to view our web site and we invite you to come visit us the next time you are in the area.
