There are many ways that the Town of Granite Quarry works to serve the community. The following are the major departments of
the town, including a description of their main functions. If you need information on or assistance with a particular town function or service, these sections of the website should be helpful to you.
Administration
Responsible for overall city operations. Key staff positions include the Town Manager, Town Clerk/Finance Director, Finance Officer and Deputy Clerk/Planning & Zoning Officer.
Planning/Zoning
Responsible for land management operations of the Town. Key staff positions include the Deputy Clerk/Planning & Zoning Officer.
Public Safety - Fire / Police
Responsible for all safety and emergency activities in the town. Key staff positions inlcude the Chief of Police, Fire Chief, and Emergency Medical Technicians.
Maintenance
Responsible for maintenance and programming in the town's two parks. Also, responsible for street maintenance and building maintenance. Key staff positions include the Maintenance Supervisor, and Maintenance Technician.
Water and Sewer
The City of Salisbury provides water and sewer services for the Town of Granite Quarry.
