The goal of the Granite Quarry-Faith Joint Police Authority is to protect and serve the citizens of the towns of Granite Quarry and Faith, North Carolina, and to improve the quality of life of these citizens. We uphold the law fairly and firmly; prevent crime; and address the problems and concerns of the citizens we server. We will do everything in our power to pursue and apprehend those who violate the law; keep the peace; protect; assist and respond to any and all complaints or concerns of the citizens of Granite Quarry and Faith. This will be accomplished with pride, integrity, using common sense and sound judgment.
We will answer all complaints and concerns with dignity, professionalism and without showing favor or being prejudice to the rights of our citizens. We will be professional, calm, and restrained when faced with irrational behavior, or violence committed toward us or the citizens of our towns.
We are striving to promote COMMUNITY POLICING and get the citizens involved. We will work hard to make our citizens feel safe in their houses and when they are out performing everyday jobs, duties and recreation. We will respond to reasonable criticism and complaints of our actions and be willing to make necessary changes to make our service agreeable to the citizens of Granite Quarry and Faith. We will strive to get our citizens confidence built up in us and they will feel free to call on us when situations require our assistance. We will keep our equipment and officers readily available and in condition if emergency arises and we are needed in hurry. All calls will be treated as real until proven otherwise.
