The Town of Granite Quarry has had reports of a hawk swooping down on visitors to the trails near the Civic Park/ Legion Building. Just a reminder that this federally protected bird may be aggressive when guarding its nest. Please be cautious walking in the Civic Park over the next few weeks until young hawks leave the nest.
