* WHAT...Snow is now occurring. It is currently switching between
rain, sleet, and snow. Snow is beginning to lay on the grassy areas
and roads. Total snow accumulations of up to 2 inches are expected.
* WHERE...Portions of the Piedmont of western North Carolina,
generally along and north of Interstate 40.
* WHEN...From Now to 5 PM EDT this afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Be
prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
