On Monday, December 5, 2017 the Town of Granite Quarry swore in it's Mayor, new Aldermen, and office staff. Mr. Jeff Barger, the Rowan County Clerk of Court did the honors. Amoung those sworn in were Mayor Bill Feather, Mayor Pro-Tem Jim LaFevers, Alderman Kim Cress, Alderman John Linker, Town Attorney Graham Corriher, Town Manager Phil Conrad, and Town Clerk Tanya Maria Word.
